Art4Art Welcome to my online Art4Art gallery. My name is Emily Tan. I am thirteen years old, and have been dancing and painting since I was a toddler. I am raising funds to attend a major ballet intensive program this summer. I call it Art4Art, because I am using one art form (painting) to support another art form (ballet). My life-long goal is to be a professional ballet dancer after high school. I currently study ballet at the Sacramento Ballet Company Dance Education Training Program. However, an important part of advanced ballet training is attending an intensive program at other pre-professional ballet studios each summer. Most programs are five to six weeks long, filled with about eight hours of dance classes, five to six days per week. As you can imagine, tuition is expensive…and room, board and travel costs are even more expensive! This coming January and February, I will be attending auditions for various ballet intensive programs. The program I attend will depend upon both program acceptance and the amount of money I can raise towards my trip. Last year, I was accepted into all of the programs I auditioned for, but couldn't afford to go! Please help me raise enough money to pursue my dream . Buy one of my paintings . Tell a friend.
